My name is Lara Wilson and I am writing from… you guessed it… the trees. I live in the lovely state of Washington, USA with a bunch of very small animals. Several Chihuahuas, a miniature horse and a couple of alpacas. (I also have a large cat, but she thinks I’m her pet.)
I spent more than 20 years in the business world. A good deal of that time was spent in the insurance industry.
A few years ago I took some time off from the insurance business to take care of my grandmother. She was bedridden and dying from dementia. During the years of caring for her, I discovered my true love – writing.
When it was time to go back to work, I took a different direction. Even though in the business world I always seem to be the one to write the letters and articles, I wanted to write full time. I started studying copywriting with the American Writers & Artists Inc. I have taken several of their classes. Including:
